Publication Fees Policy

1. APC-Free Publishing Model

The Journal of Engineering Research and Applied Sciences (JERAS) operates under a Diamond/Platinum Open Access model, meaning there are no financial obligations whatsoever on authors or readers. Specifically:

• No Submission Fees: Submitting manuscripts for review is completely free of charge.
• No Article Processing Charges (APCs): Authors are not required to pay any publishing fees after manuscript acceptance.
• No Page or Color Charges: There are no additional charges based on page count, color figures, or digital supplementary files.

2. Funding & Sponsorship

JERAS is fully and generously sponsored and funded by the College of Engineering Technology - Houn. This institutional support covers all costs related to website hosting, the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform maintenance, editorial management, peer review coordination, typesetting, and layout design.

Through this full funding, the College aims to eliminate financial barriers to scientific publishing, enabling engineers and researchers in Libya and globally to share their valuable contributions with the highest standards of quality without any financial burdens.

Important Warning

The journal administration stresses that it does not employ any publishing agents, nor does it request or accept payments under any name (whether cash or bank transfer). Any entity or website requesting money to submit or publish under the journal's name is fraudulent. Please report such incidents to the official email: jeras@ceh.edu.ly.
